Linear Pocket Lead-Hole This cycle allows you to specify a hole as the point where the tool plunges into the material. It will start at the center of the hole, plunge to depth and then move to the start of the pocket shape to begin its cut. This is useful if you have a material that is prone to chipping and you want to start the cutter in a location that is not at the edge of the part so that the chipping will occur where the material is going to be removed anyway. The result looks like this:
