Tabbing

Tabbing is a function designed to leave small amounts of material attaching the parts to the material they are cut from.  This allows the parts to be held more firmly when the tool is machining either that particular part or other parts on the table.

Tabs in Router-CIM can be as long or short as you wish, and also as thin or as thick as necessary to hold your parts to the sheet they are being cut from.

The most common use for tabbing is to hold small parts to the sheet that would otherwise move around while they were being cut.
